I've tried to fly the plane on multiplayer and each time i try to connect it fatals my sim, it works fine in single player but not in multiplayer.

I am successfully flying the new Beaver in multi-player using a program called, "JoinFS". It is free and very easy to install and use. If you continue to experience difficulties you might want to try it.

I actually have that im not partial to it as the last time i used it other players where "jumpy" , my friends have told me to try DAfsim as well im still waiting to hear back from the dev so i can get in.
