Update Problem

I received an email about an update and downloaded MilViz_DHC-2_Beaver_v1.170526.zip. I ran as an uninstall first, then installed.

Now, when I go to Milviz MVAMS and select the Beaver I get a message saying "UPDATE AVAILABLE". If I click yes to install it says it is downloading for about a second, then I get a strange message box with {#} OMG GUID 3 - x as a header, and a message that says " Here, have a GUID. OMG GUID!

Any choice just results in no changes, bring up the UPDATE notice each time.

Can someone please explain / solve.

Thank you.

Joe L.

Got it as well myself. I just closed the box and continued on.

Hmmm,

I just ran the update over the original install without un-installing and did not get this message. Then again perhaps I borked my install and just don't know it yet. There was no read me file to indicate whether we were to un-install the original or not so I just ran the update over top with no issue I can see thus far. Perhaps you can try the same, assuming you have the original installation file.

Cheers,
Thad

Same issue - I uninstalled the old version, installed the new version, and now I get the update message and this popup if I select yes.

We are aware of this and are prepping a new installer

Gentlemen, A quick fix to the issue while the updater is under scrutiny.

Go to > AppData\Local\MVAMS\Versions\DHC2 < and delete the > DHC2 < folder .

Alternatively , click No when asked to update .

Our Abject Apologies for this error , its being rectified in the least possible delay
