Activating Gear Control Causes Engine Cutoff
While in my Milviz Beaver, water takeoff. As I clear the water I activate gear control lever (Saitek / Spad.next)) to raise, at that moment the engine cuts off. As a result, I need to execute a midair engine restart. I'll be checking my key bindings today. Anyone experiencing this issue or have any suggestions?

Why are you using the gear control? Floats don't retract...

AMPHIBIANS have wheel on front of floats! (+ water rudder) Common knowledge
I'm surprised at your reply.

I don't have the Beaver installed on my development sim computer, so I didn't know if they were straight floats, or amphibious floats. Not all floats have ground gear...Eagle Spirit wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2020 6:46 pmAMPHIBIANS have wheel on front of floats! (+ water rudder) Common knowledge

So, given that why were your wheels down when you took off from the water? The gear should have been stowed while on water. Normally one doesn't extend the wheels while in water unless they are going to climb a ramp to move their aircraft to operate on land.

Agree! However, I've not heard of an issue where raising the gear cuts off the engine.

Neither have I for that matter. However I've never taken the time to install the aircraft. No time for me to 'play' as I'm far too busy working on projects.Eagle Spirit wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2020 6:14 pmAgree! However, I've not heard of an issue where raising the gear cuts off the engine.

Does it do it if you use the keyboard? , I suspect duplicated bindings or some error of this sort , I have not seen this happen myself .
