P3d v4.5 with hotfixes

I noticed that the ground steering was only possible by differential braking. Is this correct?
Where is the ground steering switch? I can't find it?

also, when taking off it seemed to jump/pop off very quick and steep. How can I tone this down?

Hello B-777,
Scott here. Just an end user.
I love my amphib. Yup, she steers with the diff brakes. Easy to do with practice.
If you take a look at the floats on your bird it's easy to see how the nose of the floats is aerodynamic. Her nose rises quickly upon lift off.
The manual will give you the best FPM and airspeed to trim to. You really have to work your trim more in the amphibs. If you haven't yet try flying the tundra, you'll really appreciate the difference on lift off.

Hope this helps. Good flying.

Most float front wheels are castoring (like a shopping cart) and not steerable... :ugeek:
