Altimeter gauge bug?
Hello,
I think i have a problem with the altimeter.
As can be seen in the following image, I have a shift between the ATC, the KAP140 and the altimeter.
3013 ATC / 3013 KAP140 / 3025 Altimeter after i press B for automatic altimeter setup.

I have this problem on all versions of the aircraft, and with and without active Sky. Or maybe the automatic setting don't work, i don't know.
Thank you.

Re: Altimeter gauge bug?
3 tests without active Sky with two aircraft :
ATC : 3013
Aircraft 1 altimeter 3013
KAP140 : 3013
Beaver : 3025 (+12)
ATC : 2921
Aircraft 1 altimeter 2921
KAP140 : 2921
Beaver : 2898 (-23)
ATC : 2956
Aircraft 1 altimeter 2956
KAP140 : 2956
Beaver : 2944 (-12)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, i control altimeter values :
LFMH : 1325 FT
Clear Sky
Altimeter : 2992
I enter 2992 in the altimeter manually : 1280 FT
With B : 1320 FT // Altimeter 2996
Same test
LFMH : 1325 FT
Heavy Snow
Altimeter : 2956
I enter 2956 in the altimeter manually : 1400 FT
With B : 1320 FT // Altimeter 2945
So i tried to mod the texture, I write the real value and the beaver value.
So i use 2921 (2898 in the beaver panel) and 2956 (2944 in the panel) as base for calculate angle in a vector design software, and....

The red 3013 is the altimeter position in the beaver when the ATC altimeter and the KAP140 show 3013 (and the beaver panel shows 3025).
The black 3010 is the position calculated by the triangulation of the blue and green values.
I think there is a problem.
I uninstalled the WX patch, the extension and the plane and then I reinstalled the plane alone, it does not change anything.

Re: Altimeter gauge bug?
With Mechanical instruments there is variance to consider in their readings and this will need to be counted in that category , even between 2 instruments on the same panel this is perfectly normal .
Having some interaction or lack of it with custom variables between manually setting outside weather programs and altering bitmaps is outside our jurisdiction for resolutions .
Thanks for doing your homework , I appreciated the data and its presentation .

Re: Altimeter gauge bug?
But how to manually setup the barometric pressure with a variable mismatch without any weather program or bitmap alteration ?
