Update Confusion

I purchased the beaver back on 1/27/2018 from Just Flight showing version 170803 but I see the sticky with "latest installer" dated 12/29/2017 for version 171229. So, I'm confused as to why the older date but higher version?

Also, isn't MVAMS supposed to tell me when an update is available?

FWIW, If I go to Just Flight to re-download, it is still offering the 170803 file.

Hello , Checking through the released installers, MilViz_DHC-2_Beaver_171229 is the last produced , Its my supposition Just Flight hasn't posted the updated version, Thank You for bringing this to our attention , we will attend to assuring the last version is made available to them .

Thanks Chuck for the clarity, I’ve updated to the latest now.

Wasn’t the elevator trim indicator reversed supposed to have been fixed? It’s still visually backwards but functionally correct.

Am I confused on the MVAMS app? Isn’t it supposed to tell me when and update is available?

Hello Kent , the MVAMS update feature would be looking for a feature update indication but there are exceptions , I would need to install back dated versions to test this and am on the road visiting family over the holidays unable to access the machines to look it over .

Assuring the versions at all resellers is historically time consuming and the same phenomenon affecting my predicament exacerbates delays in response times , the appropriate authorities are aware and assuring these are made current.
