GPS popup window
Hi,
I don't get a 2D popup window when clicking on the GPS 530/430 device (either the MLVZ or the RXP version), as is usually the case for other aircrafts (for example A2A). It's very useful in the virtual cockpit (even more in VR) since the thing is barely readable otherwise...
Is it normal or is my install buggy?
Thanks and cheers
Vvince

Re: GPS popup window
Try Shift-2, Shift-3, etc.

Re: GPS popup window
Thanks, but it does not work. Only the autopilot panel will popup (with shift-3), nothing else.

Re: GPS popup window
For an RXP GNS 530 and MV GNS 430 combination try this:
1. In the ‘panel.mv530_430’ folder in ‘DHC-2 Beaver Milviz’ [Base]
Make a backup copy of ‘panel.cfg’
2. Revise [Window Titles] to look like this:
[Window Titles]
Window00=Main Panel
Window01=Reality XP GNS 530 WAAS - RXP_CONFIG_TOOL - DO NOT CHANGE
Window02=Autopilot
(The original does not include a Window=01 which is why nothing happens with Shift + 2)
3. Change [Window01] to look like this:
[Window01]
Background_color=0,0,0
size_mm=1280,650
window_size_ratio=1.000
position=2
visible=0
ident=15531
//ident=GPS_PANEL
window_size= 0.710, 0.552
window_pos= 0.290, 0.480
gauge00=..\panel\Milviz_GPS!FBS_GNS430_2d, 640,0,640,268
gauge01=..\panel\C310_XMLGauges!KR 87 ADF, 640,268,640,134
gauge02=rxpGNS!GNS530, 0,0,640,468
//gauge02=..\panel\Milviz_GPS!FBS_GNS530_1d, 0,0,640,468
gauge03=..\panel\C310_XMLGauges!MV_KAP140_PopupDisplay, 640,402,640,163
gauge04=..\panel\Milviz_GPS!FBS_GTX330, 0,468,640,170
4. Change [Vcockpit13] to look like this:
[Vcockpit13]
file=C310_VC_02.bmp
size_mm=512,512
visible=0
pixel_size=1024,1024
texture=$C310_VC_02
gauge00=..\panel\C310_XMLGauges!FBS_GTX330, 0,376,512,136
gauge01=rxpGNS!GNS530, 0,0,512,374
//gauge01=..\panel\Milviz_GPS!FBS_GNS530_1, 0,0,512,374
5. Shift + 2 opens and closes the pop up, or click on the RXP 530 screen to close.
6. Make sure there is an ‘RXPGNS.ini’ in the ‘DHC-2 Beaver Milviz’ [Base] folder.

Re: GPS popup window
Thanks you very much, Ranger, that's exactly what I was looking for!
After some more tuning for VR, it looks fantastic.
I greatly appreciate you help.
Cheers
