Nose cone on three bladed prop

Post by bpieke » Sun Oct 28, 2018 5:23 pm

In my quest to recreate the Harbour Air Beavers that fly around my neighbourhood, I have hit a snag.

MVAMS allows me to select "no cone" for the three bladed propellor, but that option is not actually implemented..

Harbour Air does not have nose cones on their airplanes... any chance that this option might be coming in an update?

:)

There are just too many permutations to make this viable.

Sorry, but that is a lame excuse... no disrespect.

You have three bladed props on your warbirds, so it is not as if you have to create something from scratch..

Hope you reconsider, once the Twin Comanche excitement settles down.. :)

The problem is that we'd have to export every single version (which is now adding up to well over 30...) and double it. Just to have or not have the cone.

You see the dilemma?

I see the dilemma... too bad.

As a compromise, I have now equipped my Harbour Air fleet with two bladed props which will just have to do the job ;)

Looking at the selections available you chose the best option, we supplied a no hub version on the two bladed prop only , the pointed and round cone were available on both prop types. Its no surprise that there were other prop's fitted and other engines too from time to time , like Colin explained there are a vast array of these to export and an equally large representation of real world variations to cover, inevitably leaving a few stones unturned.
