Re: Question about REX Weather radar installation
I have all recent updates for FSX-SE and System is also up to date (Win 10 64 bit). But it works only if copying MV_WX.dl to Gauge in Main folder of FSX-SE.Krazycolin wrote:In all versions of SE (FSX Steam) and P3D, you MUST have the most recent update(s).
If not, it will not work no matter what you do.

Same here! That is the point, and it is a "Beaver File", not a part of P3D!Headset wrote:I have all recent updates for FSX-SE and System is also up to date (Win 10 64 bit). Re: Question about REX Weather radar installation
The problem here is not the version of the WX installed. That is an issue someone else was having (which would produce the MV_WX.dll incompatible with this simulator message box).
The issue here is that the path reference to the MV_WX.dll was not set up properly in the panel cfg. The testers and devs (I wasn't involved much) didn't pick up on it because they have the WXAdvantage installed which places an unlocked MV_WX.dll in the main gauges folder of the simulator and that way it can be referenced by any aircraft. The problem has been located and will be resolved.

You can mark this resolved. The lastest installer has given me a working radar. Thanks.

Re: Question about REX Weather radar installation
Now the Wx Radar is working as designed, but I still get the message about the incompatibility of the MV_WX.dll for my Sim (P3D V3.4). Is there a way to get rid of that warning? The file is only present in the Beaver-Panel folder.JonathanBleeker wrote:The problem here is not the version of the WX installed. Re: Question about REX Weather radar installation
We're looking at this but, as it's a minor bug and in no way affects perf or function, it's low on the list.
