I've made replacement files for the stock paints. They ALL have the same registration number on the panel! Get it here:cavaricooper wrote: PS- will the instrument panel REGISTRATION get worked on to sync with the a/c?

Re: Autopilot won't engage.
Just to chime in and add some data, Autopilot will engage but only for Horizontal mode. Altitude hold and VS not working. I can preselect an altitude with the knob, but when I press the ALT button no indicator in the window or function. Also, the UP/DOWN buttons seem to have no effect on vertical speed. I have both the newest update and addon pack installed in P3D v3.4.

Re: Autopilot won't engage - FIX
Hi Guys,
Please download the attached file and unzip it in .....\DHC-2 Beaver Milviz\panel\C310_XMLGauges subfolder either for FSX/P3D, replacing the previous version.
Now the P light will still turn on usually, but it should not last on more than 30 seconds.
If AP is powered in the air or on the ground with the aircraft in motion, the P light will turn on, following the same logic. And, sometimes, it could happen that it never turns off so pitch modes will be lost. That is how it happens in real.
Turbulence tolerance has been increased but it is still possible that the AP will disengage and pitch/roll modes be lost in medium to severe turbulence, as it happens in real as well.
Tom

This file seams to have done it for me. The little red P now goes out on its own (after about 20-30 seconds) then the autopilot works as advertised.
Thanks again for the fast support and the fix.
Best wishes
Bob

Re: Autopilot won't engage.
I also can confirm the new file provided by Tom has fixed my A/P. Testing this AM on flights between KCDN and KCAE confirms the A/P's ability to "perform as advertised". Thanks so much, Tom!

Re: Autopilot won't engage.
Tom's file has fixed my AP woes as well- ta Tom!

PS- have you noted that the transponder light does not flash upon interrogation in ALT mode?
PPS- have you noted the clipping of the 3rd decimal place radio digits?
Ta Chuck!

Re: Autopilot won't engage.
Feedback on build 170829-
Still having AP power on issues (P)... do I still need to apply Tom's fix? It does go out, but then immediately comes back on.... applied the fix and the file size was the same. Tried again- same result. Stays off for a few seconds and then comes on again....?
Still seeing clipping on the last digit of the COMM part (active and standby)
Still seeing no flash for transponder interrogation.
Could you please advise... thanks!
Carl

Re: Autopilot won't engage.
I assume you are talking about pitch modes going off (dashes displayed) right? That will happen sometimes when AP is powered on, after baro settings have been confirmed; and will happen always if the aircraft is in motion at that moment.cavaricooper wrote:Feedback on build 170829-
