So I flew the wheeled version last night and I found that indeed, it takes almost 45 mph to get the tail up. This is a little fast and you are right that wheel landings require too much speed to be possible. Myself I am "hacking" away at the float airfile to suit it more to my expectations and I am more than pleased with the product that Milviz has provided us. It is just fun to fly a Beaver and the sound as it overflys the airport view is very well done, IMHO.
