Expansion pack question..?

Hello Chaps,

I have a question about the expansion pack. I had bought it when it was released but was cautious of installing it due to amount of updates/un-install/re-installs of the first Beaver....!?! Its so damn hard to keep up.

Now my question. Is the expansion pack a separate install? That is...will the Tundra/amphibian/standard Beaver (first package) be overwritten by the expansion pack...? Will I loose all of the repaints and model of the first Beaver?

Hello , the 4 base versions DO NOT overwrite during the installation of the addon series , there are base pack updates that support various features used in the addons avionics that should be up to date.

No repaints will be lost .

Okay CJ I have installed the "expansion pack".

Now why are the old paints giving me black RHS control surfaces? Also in the MVAMS I have selected "Passenger" config but the original beaver comes through as the "cargo"!?!!? All of the expansion pack aircraft come through as passenger configuration, so should not ALL of the aircraft come through as that!?!!?

This product is SOOOOO frustrating!!!

Any help would be great!

The paints that you’re using won’t fit the newest build.

Okay.....all good now! I had to un-install the WHOLE lot again and start from scratch!?!

Yes the third party paints are no good anymore. Such a pitty there were some great ones there.
