Backwards trim and wx radar won't turn on?

Hello,

I realized tonight that for me, on at least the straight floats model, the pitch trim indicator is still reversed. Also, my wx radar won't turn on. Any trick to fix this one? I'm on FSXA.

I'm on the latest update. I thought maybe it hadn't taken for some reason, so I forced MVAMS to download it again and I installed it as usual: as administrator, AV disabled. Tried several times in the sim after that, and both problems remain.

Well, no dice on this one. WX radar is still intermittent, but biased towards working on the original models, and not working on the spray n play models. I say it this way because I'm almost positive I had it work on the tundra STOL model once. Maybe I'm mistaken there. But it for sure didn't work on the straight floats and tundra STOL models when I just tested it.

EDIT: I'm wrong about that one, I just found a screenshot I grabbed from the Tundra STOL flight where I thought the radar worked. It was not on. So, looks like radar works on base models and not spray n play models, for me. This is FSXA.

Hi Chuck,

I've been away from the computer for a bit, but finally got a chance to try out this latest patch. It's progress, I think, in the sense that the radar now turns on and all the controls appear operable. However, the radar will not paint any returns in WX, WX/T, or MAP modes. It will display a test pattern properly, but no actual precip or ground returns. I tested it in SE Alaska around showers, and then to be sure I loaded up at Houston Hobby - plenty of rain around there obviously, but not on the radar.

This is Win 7 64, FSXA, ASN.

This one did the trick for me; radar now works normally on Win 7 64, FSXA, on base and expansion pack models.
