Strange DHC-2 AMS update problem
I don't see a DHC-2 Beaver support forum yet, so I will post here.
I downloaded the latest Beaver installer, which per the notes also had an update for the AMS. The Beaver install went fine
(although I haven't flown the new version yet). But now when I click on the Beaver in the AMS, it says an update is available.
When I click yes to update, there's a brief download, but all that appears is a small Guid generator box titled "OMG GUID 3"
with options for a new GUID, and to copy the GUID and HEX strings. If I close the GUID generator box, the update notice for
the Beaver still remains in the AMS.
I've tried uninstalling and re-installing the new Beaver installer, but no success. I can still access the Beaver menu in the AMS
by ignoring the update notice.
Remember I had a problem before with the AMS updating the F4E, which was solved by installing a new AMS .exe and .dll.
So I don't know if this is the same type of AMS updating problem.
Any thoughts on why I might be getting the GUID generator as an update for the Beaver? In any case, I'm really enjoying the
plane.
Thanks - Bob

Exact the same problem overhere. An another problem is that my pedals don't work.

When there is no pilot in the cockpit, and control colum is belt-tied , all control surfaces are locked.RETbuzz wrote:Exact the same problem overhere. An another problem is that my pedals don't work.
