Just did a reinstall of windows10 and all flight sim software. Using FSX Steam. Milviz Beaver installed ok but can't get the gauges ... temp, full etc working and the manifold gauge needle not moving, prop gauge needle moving but the prop level is not moving in sim. Any ideas. They worked fine before the reinstall.

Please have a look in the support forum, not the general forum. It would appear you don't have XMLTools installed properly. Make sure you run the installer as admin and that you have AV temporarily turned off and an exclusion for your sim directory then try to reinstall again.
