ranger.dll causes ctd on load

Hello:
New here, so hi to all.
My T-50 causes fsx to ctd when the airplane is loading.
I've narrowed the problem down to ranger.dll by commenting out the gauges in panel.cfg one by one. The t-50 loads fine if ranger.dll is commented out.
I'm running fsx acceleration as administrator.
I get a BEX error with the following sigs:
Sig[0].Name=Application Name
Sig[0].Value=fsx.exe
Sig[1].Name=Application Version
Sig[1].Value=10.0.61637.0
Sig[2].Name=Application Timestamp
Sig[2].Value=46fadb14
Sig[3].Name=Fault Module Name
Sig[3].Value=MSVCR90.dll
Sig[4].Name=Fault Module Version
Sig[4].Value=9.0.30729.9247
Sig[5].Name=Fault Module Timestamp
Sig[5].Value=56fa38aa
Sig[6].Name=Exception Offset
Sig[6].Value=0002fc96
Sig[7].Name=Exception Code
Sig[7].Value=c0000417
Sig[8].Name=Exception Data
Sig[8].Value=00000000
I have read 'T-50 crashes P3D' which describes the exact same error, but, sadly, I am already running as administrator.
Am I missing a file ranger.dll depends on? Here is what is in my panel folder:
amsinterop.dll, Milviz_Lighting_Gauge.dll, Milviz_Sound.gau, Ranger.cfg. Ranger.dll, AoA_Gauge_Bgnd.bmp, panel.cfg, panel-copy and panel-copy(2)
Tks in advance,
Stephen
