Re: Quite a few issues
Same problem with the MVAMS allowing a cold dark start. I have the T-50 in the Addons dropdown for seats only. Tried all the things that Bomber_12th suggested but no joy with the cold dark start. This is in P3D v3x. Ideas?
Edit
I found that selection the Bobcat after starting P3D allow for the cold dark start. Selecting the Bobcat with the start up selection screen doesn't allow for the cold dark start. The aircraft had engines running when P3D opened. I selected a different aircraft and then back to the Bobcat. That allowed for the cold dark start. It is the selection procedure in P3D startup screen that is causing the problem. Not a problem at all now that I know how to make the cold dark start happen.

You cannot have any of our aircraft as the default. It won't work. As well, it's critical that you be running as an admin. We will be making a video on these foibles shortly.

Makes sense Colin. I found that you must switch aircraft in P3D to get the start (running or cold dark) you want. If I select the Bobcat in the preview window the Bobcat has the engines running. If I switch to a different aircraft and back to the Bobcat the engines stop to become cold and dark. Thanks for the explanation. The video should help everyone.

You ever tried re-installing the SimConnect.msi for FSX XPACK?

Thanks Jonathan. Was at that point when I saw your post. Did a full P3D 2.5 reinstall and it still didn't work. Found the FSX simconnect and ran that again and it finally started working.JonathanBleeker wrote:You ever tried re-installing the SimConnect.msi for FSX XPACK?
All good now after a few frustrating days with it.

Figured that would be it....Without it none of the modules will load.
