MVAMS and SimConnect problem.

Post by Falcon962 » Mon Dec 05, 2016 12:28 pm

Hi.

On my Windows 10 x86_64 Installation and Prepar3d v3.4 (3.4.14.18870) Version, any modification to the UH1 are not reflected
to the SIM (CoPilot Figure, for example) but I'm able to fly the chop.
Modification made in the Addon Manager are persistent.

Sim and the MVAMS run as Administrator.
UAC is disabled.

The SimConnect.msi installation (P3D\redist\Interface\FSX-SP2-XPACK\retail\lib directory) makes the Prepar3D unusable.
The SIM starts but is closed without any message after selecting OK in the Prepar3D Scenario Setup window.

Thank you for a feedback.

Best

F.

MVAMS and SimConnect problem.

An update:
I reinstalled Windows 10 this night and Prepar3d (Windows 10 x86_64 1607.OS Build 14393.447 and Prepar3d v3.4 (3.4.14.18870) Version).
Microsoft Flight Simulator SimConnet Client v10.0.61259.0 is also installed.
Milviz_UH1_C-H_v1.161104 is installed.

Now I'm able to use the SIM and the Chop, but I can confirm that any changes to the UH1 in MVAMS are not reflected
to the Prepar3d (CoPilot Figure, for example). UH1 is in Ready to Fly condition.

Modification made in the MVAMS are persistent.

Windows Application Log is clean (No error message).

Please Help.

Thank you. F.

Hi Falcon,

We are investigating this issue and we'll have an answer. Or perhaps more questions for you. Stay tuned.

Thank you for the support.

A new update:

I have installed ORBX FTX Central 3 v 3.0.2.2 with it's ORBX Libraries and FTX Global BASE Pack few minutes ago.

The SIM starts but is closed without any message after selecting an UH1 model then OK in the Prepar3D Scenario Setup window.

Windows Application Log is clean (No error messages).

I'm able to use the SIM selecting other Aircraft (I've used the R22) in the Prepar3D Scenario Setup window.

Now I am on the way to install Milviz MD350. I will keep you updated for sure.

Best

I'm wondering if this issue was ever corrected or resolved?

I have the same issue with my UH-1 in P3D. In the MVAMS I set the doors visible, some of the crew to be visible, and the aircraft set to cold/dark, but when the sim loads the settings aren't remembered.. one crew member is visible in the right gunner's well but no others and no doors are visible, also the aircraft is running not dark. This is the case for the UH-1H, UH-1C, and my Corsair.

I use Windows 10 with P3D v5, and that might be the problem but I decided to give the v4 aircraft a try after reading that others have had success using them.

Side Note.. I was a Huey Crewchief for over 10 years, and this aircraft is modeled really well and the flight model and sounds are wonderful too. It really brings back very fond memories from my past.. Thank you for that!

Thank you in advanced..
Regards,
Chris
