How Do You Start the Huey ?

Hello all...lovely helicopter but I cannot get it to start. I followed the instructions in the manual but it will go. When you press the starter the you can hear the engine spool up but it never goes over 10%. When I take my mouse off starter the engine just spools down and nothing.

I do have the Huey starting up as my default flight if that is causing problem?

Any ideas what I’m doing wrong ?

i'm mostly flying in DCS as i dont like P3D. but .

It's not the startup procedure but this should get your engine running.

Ceiling panel :
- Batt On
- Main Gen on ( under red cover)
- Starter

Central
- Fuel on
- Hydro & force trim ( push fwd )
Throttle : you have to "open" , ( rotate the grip on the collective , then rotate back ).

This should make Ctrl+E work. ( check collective is all the way down.).

Once started , on ceiling Inverter on ( main) , starter std by) .
