@Dutch next time you see the error code 0xc0000409 know that there is a glitch with file read/write permissions, usually due to not running as admin.

What is surprising is that I downloaded version V1.170803 on Justflight site.
But when launching l.exe, it is the install of v1.161104 that appears ...with only two options:
- FSX-or-FSX:SE(stand-alone)
- Prepard3D v4.

Is this normal?

Yes. Our installers will only offer for those sim versions you actually have installed.

This doesn't make sense. OP asked about the version discrepancy too.

I have the same issue - v1.161104 shows as the available install when you try to install v1.170803. Oisin suggested this is a bug and that the installer does install v1.170803. I am looking for some clarity here. If the Installer IS v1.170803 why does it not show that in the dialog boxes?

I downloaded the release version from the support forum here and ran the install and you're correct that in the installation text it mistakenly identifies itself as version 161104. That's an error in not updating the text, and we apologize for the mistake.

However have no fear, this is really version 170803. How can you be sure? Because there is an option to install in Prepar3d Version 4. There was no such option on the earlier version 161104, the original, because that did not support V4.
