HTR and Tacpack compatibility
How to get Milviz's Huey running with HTR v1.5:
1: Download the UH-1H cfg file for HTR from Hovercontrol and change it's name to "Aerodynamics.cfg". Install it in the usual manner.
2: Turn on FSX.
3: While you are looking at the "Free Flight" screen and you see the aircraft rotating start HTR v1.5.
4: Make sure "HTR Panel Active" is not selected. This option makes HTR incompatible with the tacpack and can prevent certain hydraulic systems from working. This option must not be checked when you click on "Fly Now" or you will need to restart FSX.
5: In the HTR window select "Governor available" and "Vibration Effect"
6: In the HTR window set the cyclic sensitivity to 200. You can adjust it to your liking while you are flying, but start at 200.
7: Click on "Fly Now".
Other thoughts....
I usually run it with the wind set at five knots gusting to seven or something like that so I don't develop any bad hovering habits. I do have FSUIPC installed so that the wind velocity changes at a rate of two seconds per one knot change in velocity because my copy of FSUIPC can smooth out the wind a little and make it more realistic.
Good luck.

Hadn't heard of this before. Thanks.
I can't seem to find the profile for the Milviz UH-1 there though. Could you, perhaps point me in the right direction?

I was using the cfg for the Nemeth Designs UH-1H by Jorge Roldan and Fred Naar with the Milviz short fuselage versions. I think these aircraft have the same handling characteristics.

Re: HTR and Tacpack compatibility
I should have mentioned this works with FSX: Acceleration and I never tried it with P3D.
