[RESOLVED] F100D Green VC-Pilot missing-MVAMS does not work
Posted: Wed Aug 10, 2016 7:28 pm
New P3D v3 user since June (P3D v3.3.5.17625), I encounter some problems with F100.
I have a brand new installation with new motherboard, i7-6700 CPU@3.40GHz, new graphic card Nvidia GTX 980 msi, Driver 368.81, ssd for OS W7 - 64 bits and a dedicated P3D ssd on which I created two folders, one for Lockheed Martin Prepar3D v3 and one for Addons sceneries and some planes. (No FSX on my new installation, I did not reinstall it).
I have the following problems when I install F100 :
- Green virtual cockpit
- Pilot is missing
- Milviz Addon Management System does not work

I Installed F100D in Prepar3D folder with admin rights and with anti virus and UAC disable. Installation succeeded, but I received the message that "XMLTools3D.dll" did not find "Dll.xml" file in C/Users/ ... /AppData/Roaming/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3d v3. (In fact my "Dll.xml" file is in C/ProgramData/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3D v3)
I started P3D and chosen F100 for a flight. VC appeared but immediately taken a green color and when I selected exterior view, pilot was missing although the option “show Pilot” was checked in Milviz Addon Management System.
Milviz Addon Management System does not work. I am unable to activate the options suggested.
I uninstalled F100 with success but Milviz Addon Management System is always there !
I reinstalled F100D but prior I did a copy-paste of my "Dll.xml" file from %ProgramData% to %Roaming% and I renamed the initial %ProgramData% "Dll.xml" file in "DLL_OLD.xml".
Installation succeeded, and this time I received the message that "XMLTools3D.dll" found "Dll.xml" file in %Roaming%.

I started P3D but nothing happened and I had to use Ctrl+Alt+Delete and launch Task Manager to close the window.
I tried a third install but prior I CUT and pasted my "Dll.xml" file from %Roaming% to %ProgramData%.
I started P3D and chosen F100 for a flight. VC appeared and one more time immediately taken a green color and when I selected exterior view, pilot was always missing.
I uninstalled F100 with success but F100 Management center is always there !
I tried a fourth install but before I did a copy-paste of my "Dll.xml" file from %ProgramData% to %Roaming%. Like that I had two similar "Dll.xml" files in two different places !
I started P3D and selected F100 for a flight. VC appeared and one more time immediately taken a green color and when I selected exterior view, pilot was always missing.
This where I am today, F100 with green VC and no pilot, inactive Milviz Addon Management System and 2 identical "Dll.xml" files in two different places.
As suggested in your in "Before you call the doctor", I looked for error reports in Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Event Viewer->Windows Logs->Application.
I have a long list of errors. But I don't know what does it mean.

I also seen the post created by Lynchsl on apr 25th "F100D Supersabre Green Cockpit". If I well understood (sorry I don't speak English fluency), He resolved his problem when he installed Sim Skunkworks F-104 !
So, a little help and assistance would be welcome.
Thank you.
Richard
