F100D MVAMS Unable to send loadout to simulator

Hi,

I get the following error message when I try to send the F-100D loadout selection from MVAMS to the simulator (P3DV3)

"The system was unable to send the loadout to your simulator"

Any idea why this isn't working for me? I have checked permissions and they all seem to be in order.

Is the simulator running? Also try going to your P3D main folder\redist\Interface\FSX-SP2-XPACK\retail\lib and running the SimConnect.msi

Thanks for the reply JB.

I have double checked and the sim is not running. Even after first starting the PC today I tried and got the same error message. I have also double checked and all the LM folders are shared and are set as full control for user under security settings. I also tried the simconnect installers, but no joy there.
