Take off woes
Hi, I am having problems getting this aircraft into the air without crashing.Take off trim is set ( orange light on ),flaps to 1/2. At 145 knots I start to apply back pressure on the stick but it always ends up with the aircraft crashing. I have tried different speeds and stick movements but it still crashes. I am assuming it is the technique that is wrong. Could you provide me with any tips or advice please. After the crash the aircraft respawns airborne and everything works ok, enjoy flying it but can’t seem to take off. Not had this problem with other aircraft before.
Many thanks for any help.

Re: Take off woes
Do you just get a P3D crash event, or does the aircraft make some wild maneuver? If the former, you may need to disable crash detection, or at least turn the crash realism slider to minimum. Your scenery may also be involved. What airport/addon?

Re: Take off woes
Hi again. I think it is a P3D crash as the aircraft doesn’t make any unusual moves. It is in a take off attitude then suddenly crashes. I am using default scenery. I will follow your advice and turn off P3D crash detection and try again.
Thanks for reply.

Re: Take off woes
Hi, I found P3D crash detection disabled . The problem seems to be my fault. I was trying to take -off too early. By allowing the aircraft to accelerate to around 170 knots the aircraft lifted off perfectly ( this is with external stores fitted ). I have repeated this technique 5 times and have had no further crashes so am happy with this take-off technique. Thanks for your help.

Good to hear. And yes, the early fast jets were not known for for good low speed handling
