What happened to my T-38A ? It wont start any mo [resolved]

Hi,

Incridible! I flew 100 times with it. I'd like to start 2018 with a T-38A flights and guess what ? Impossible to start the engines! I did what I used to but nothing.
Battery, on, Fuel tanks full, throttle open, start on, fuel pump on, ground start GPU on, starter push, but nothing. RPM wont climb, fuel flow stays to 0.
I tried with the versions 171224 and 171108. Same problem.

If I do an autostart (CTRL+E) engines start, but I cannot cut them off with the throttle to CUTOFF. Nothing happen.

I tried to unable all dll in dll.xml but T38, with and without any ADV options... same issue.

Any idea why ?

Tried all what I could : deleted Fsx.cfg to start with new config, reinstall C++ 2013 redistr, unable all dll... no success

Installed back to version 170726 which works fine.

I can replicate the issue. Apparently the problem only happens in FSX version.

A new version will be released with the fix asap. Please, until then stay on 170726

Found it. Apparently, the installer is not copying the EFFECTS.xml file. It seems to affect FSX and P3Dv3 versions.

Please, download the attached file. Unzip the EFFECTS.xml file and copy it in the \T38 folder:

...\SimObjects\Airplanes\T-38A_ADV_MilViz\Panel\T38

It should fix the non-starting problem.

We´ll release a new installer asap.
