P38 Tacpack

I don't see any record of you attempting to fire the guns in that log file. No trigger/pickle inputs. How did you test?

Ok I finally had some time to download the latest build myself to verify things. I found some faults but one thing that stood out was the conditions for effects. The tracer effect shows up if you press the button on the yoke to fire, but pressing the yoke button to fire doesn't fire the tacpack weapons, which are only fired if you use the assigned key/button in your TPM to fire although the tracer doesn't work then. So for now, use your TACPACK trigger to fire, not the yoke button. You will see the hits on the ground in that case although no tracers. I will be uploading a small hotfix here shortly that will fix things

thank you for the info...problem being I can only fire the guns via the cockpit gun button! The key board assignment has no effect at all.
I have changed the assignment key still nothing....I have also checked the other tacpack aircraft and everything is working OK, even with changing the key assignments over in the TP manager.

Did you see the sticky at the top of this forum regarding the hotfix?

Hi thank you for your assistance in this matter. I hope you received my mail to thank you, and that all seems to be working but for the sound when firing the guns. Impact of the rounds hitting the target now working and the key command via "tacpack" is working too.
