Emergency Floats

So, it is great that the helicopters now com with the options pack but it is not cool how there is no documentation on how to use it once added. Such as, how do you turn on the night sun (I figured the answer out myself by messing around) and how do you use the emergency floats. In the Bell 407, i see the float switch on the collective and it turns from an arrow to a finger but it does nothing when pressed. Yes, I have the floats installed, but they dont seem to inflate or do anything. What conditions, if any, have to be met for the floats to inflate, and what is the key command(s)?
