WX radar causes CTD, no solutions in forum?

Hi, I've searching in this forum, and couldn't find any fix or solution for the problem with the sim crashes when in WX radar is activated. Is renaming or removing the WX dll. the only way? But what's the point? I'll lose the WX radar right?
I'm running on P3D v4.5 latest HF

Active Sky P3D (v4)
REX Environment Force (For cloud textures only, NOT as weather engine)


Does your system meet the sim's requirements? YES
Did you temporarily disable your anti-virus program during the download process? YES
Before installing did you disable UAC. (User Account Control)? YES
Did you install, and are you running the sim as an admin? YES
Before running the sim did you make sure the FSX/P3D directory is off limits to any AV scanning? YES
Does your system have the required distributables? YES
Is your video card DX11 compatible? YES
If applicable, did you disable any FSX to P3D migration tools (like Estonia) before running the sim? YES
Are you using an aircraft other than a Milviz one as your default aircraft? YES
Have you installed in the root sim directory? YES
Do you have the appropriate SimConnect libraries installed? YES

That crash looks like Activesky crashing not the WX module. Does it still crash if AS isn't loaded?

Yes, I've tried without Active Sky, it still crashes. But why active sky only crash with KA350? It's all fine with other third party aircrafts.

It should work with AS and I haven't had other reports of this in V 4.5 , please try uninstalling AS and then run P3D. Even if you don't open the program the module still loads (AS) so we need to see where the crash is really coming from.

If it then crashes still I need the crash info as you posted in your original post. If it doesn't crash without AS then you will need to contact them regarding the crash on their program as I cannot debug their program.

Hi, I noticed that there's a Windows update, and after the update, it looks like it's working fine now. Has Windows update got to do with the CTD?

Not as far as I know of but maybe something in Windows was causing the issue on your particular setup.
