First post (usually able to find the help I need in existing discussions). So after a wait for my pre-order and a move I'm finally getting my Honeycomb Bravo set up in P3Dv5.2 (latest just downloaded yesterday). This is a bit of a departure for me as I'm quite a bit more airplane savvy than I am computer programming savvy. I've got most of what I want set up on the Bravo for use with the B350, and am looking for some assistance with the autopilot function buttons/lights, as well as getting the Bravo to read the Master Caution/Warning lights.

I have found the Lvars list pinned at the top of this board, and have mostly been successful in finding what I want with it. My issue comes with the values for the FGS panel inputs, for example FGS - HDG is 1 (>L:0x110C1,bool) 0x110C1 d (>L:EVENT,enum) (>L:AP_EVENT,enum), I'm struggling with which piece of data to put where in the Honeycomb Configurator. I'm still very much on training wheels when it comes to this stuff, I have no experience with FSUIPC, SPAD, LINDA, LUAs, or any of those acronyms I often see floating around. Any help for a complete beginner would be appreciated.

It can take a while to dig into this topic and is out of my realm but there are some other users with home cockpits that might jump in and point you in the right direction.

Thanks, that was kind of the direction I was thinking, but hadn’t been successful with yet. You gave me a few more ideas to try and tinker with.

I have the Honeycomb Alpha Yoke so I suspect that the Bravo works the same way. I have found that most of the P3D commands mostly just toggle say AP Heading. FSUIPC, SPAD have more flexibly with parameters. FSUIPC one just goes to the buttons section and then just click on it, Then there is a check box that when checked gives you a ton of choices. SPAD is easier because it will give the use the option to assign defaults to a control like AP HDG. However, you will find that SPAD has a ton of B350 commands that work very well and can map just about everything to your controls. Most have a parameter of 1 to set something and 0 to turn it off, such as the master battery. There are also online scripts that SPAD to display. For example, AP ALT shows the list for just that. I usually use SIM CONNECT Default which works well. Both FSUIPC and SPAD has try before you buy, SPAD does for sure.

I used SPAD because it works very well with SaiTek without the Logic Drivers which can be flakey. It also allows me to set up multiple aircrafts with they own command. For example B350 Master Battery won't work on say a E180 that might need something else. SPAD auto loads the aircraft Profile which I think is the only package that does that. FSUIPC and P3D affects all aircraft which for rudders are find. Also, it is a independent program so backing up the profiles one can do a quick restore (same in FSUIPC) I have the King Air down pretty well so I will watch this post if you get stuck on of the actions you want to control for the B350
