Trying to get the reverser to work [Answered]
I have read this carefully. I did a reinstall on P3D 5.2 HF1 I cannot get the reversers to kick in when I pull back on the the throttle. I should have saved my data because I did get this working before. Should have left the MVAMS program still there but it got reinstalled too.
I looked at my old version to dll.xml and this was not in there, I saw a post that this was needed in version 4.5
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>XMLTools64</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
<Path>XMLTools64.dll</Path>
<DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>
<DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>
</Launch.Addon>
I tried to just set up everything in FSUIPC like any other plane with reversers and calibrated in FSUIPC. But this does not work with the King Air.
What I did before is setup the Set Axis Throttle 1 and 2 with the default caibration is in P3D So not calibration done. Then Set the slider bars in MVAMS, Axis.cfg which is in the MVAMS folder is updated when I use the slider bars to set up the throttle. Is there somewhere that talks about how the axis.cfg works for the throttle (only in this case) That will help. Thank

Re: Trying to get the reverser to work
The best way to get the axis to work is using P3D for axis's. The recommended way in FSUIPC was to set up the axis but do not calibrate in FSUIPC or it can cause issues. Use the MVAMS program to setup the points where reverse happens on the axis.
XMLToolsx64 is required for the KA to work properly. It should be installed with the product. In some cases it doesn't for Orbx users but there is a link in the KA support forum if for some reason you can't get it installed. Always recommend to run installers as admin.

Re: Trying to get the reverser to work
Thanks for the quick reply. The KA350i controls configuration is excellent. I don't know if it is part of the files on the main KA350 page at the bottom but it should be. It helped as it reminded me to check the Enable Hardware box, how stupid was that. So everything is working. The installed which I did not get from Orbx does not update the DLL.XML and was not in the backup XML file I had. So maybe this is a P3D 5 issue but I know how to edit XML files so I will add it. I have version (1.2.0 11-20-2020) Is that the latest, appears so ?
I am going tp delete the axis.cfg and adjust the sliders again. What I get is the left and right throttle are off just a bit from each other. For example the left throttle left can have a torque of 70 and the right be at 75 lets say. So I adjust so they are the same numbers. So I am not sure if I need to set the slider settings the exact same or in the real world this is how it is. If they should be the same for I can edit the axis.ini and set them the same. There is a Power setting (axis.cfg) as well, are those the defaults so I may try that for each throttle. (I am using the ThrustMaster Warthog because I love the weight and all metal it has)
Thanks again for the reply, it was really helpful.
For those using SpadNext just set each throttle to the throttle without reverser. (each for each engine) For axis calibrate use the reset for calibration and Response Curve. I use SpadNext because I have 2 profiles (KA350 and E180) and Spad auto switches as needed, MVAMS does the rest.

Re: Trying to get the reverser to work
The engines in this aircraft are modeled to be just very slightly different as it happens in the real world so you will not get exact same performance from both but they should be within spec.
