RNP Approach
Hey Guys,
I started a Trip to LOWI today and would try the RNP E RWY26.
What should I say ? It doesnt work but I´m convinced thats my fault.
Have anybody a quick Tutorial how to perform a RNP Approch with the King Air?
Thanks a lot

Re: RNP Approach
I think fundamentally, P3D cannot simulate RNP approaches. Even PMDG/FSLabs have pseudo RNAV replecations in their products. Unless Milviz has a recommended procedure, I would stick with GPS-only or conventional approaches. I have tried RNP approaches in the King Air but have experienced a whole slew of glitches.

Re: RNP Approach
Hi,
The King Air with PL21 cannot fly RNP approaches and therefore is not authorized for that. AFAIK it's a FMS3000/PL21 limitation for KA's version, other aircraft with similar system but with modern software versions have that capability.

Re: RNP Approach
In the real KA FMS3000, RNP approaches should not display as availables. IIRC Navigraph version in KA does not differentiate RNP from RNAV/GPS, then it's not possible to filter those.norcali.pilot wrote: ↑Sun Jun 27, 2021 5:08 pmDoes the real-world FMS3000 in the King Air even display RNP approaches? Or does the pilot have to understand they cannot select the RNP approaches listed? You'd think they would disable the pilot from selecting an approach the system cannot fly.
