K350 latest version crash with P3DV5.1 HF1 [Resolved-Reinstall access database redist]

Dear team,

I get a CTD when trying to load the 350 with p3dv5.1 academic with the new hf1. I run windows 10 64bit fully updated, nvidia gtx1070 fully updated and the latest version of the K350 found here in the forum. I also use Active sky for p3dv5.1 RC2. Please advise me.

I'm going to take a guess that 5.1hf1 broke something, probably the WXR. Do you get a crash without using that function? Seeing as how this just dropped there has been zero testing against it...

Hi, how can I disable the WXR since the K350 is not loading? Also I don't have the Milviz WXR installed.

Make sure you installed the latest 350i and P3D 5.1

You can deactivate the radar by going to your SimObjects/Airplanes/MV_King_Air_350i/Panel

Look for MV_WXM.dll and change the extension to BAK so that it is MV_WXM.BAK

That should deactivate the weather radar

As a side note to what Raptor said: The WXR that is included in the KA is derived from the MV WXR product but has been customized and will also only work in the KA. In the past hotfixes and service packs to P3D cause it to stop working / cause crashes.

Can you post your event viewer? If you deactivated the weather radar as above and is still crashing, then something else is causing the issue.

Also, what is your sim.dll version?

Activesky beta has been causing crashes for another user here. Try uninstalling it or not using it for a flight.

This didn't help either. I also unistalled active sky with no luck. The K350 is the only aircraft that gives me that problem. All the others like PMDG, FSLABS, TFDI, Qualitwings, Aerosoft CRJ, DC8, Feelthere and Captainsim give me zero crashes. Is it maybe the trueglass in the K350?

Thank you Slayer. I have also noticed that when I load the flight, the startup screen does not go away like the other aircrafts when you see only a black screen and the loading window. Maybe this helps?

I've seen that before during betas , on my side at least it was an incomplete or corrupted install.

Another suggestion is to uninstall the aircraft, make sure that all remnants of the older version are gone. If you have any of the files below get rid of them. Make sure you have P3D excluded from Windows defender scans, right click the installer and run as admin and also run your sim as admin.

I was also informed that work is ongoing in regards to trueglass but that doesn't seem to be your issue here but keep your eyes on the forum for an update of some kind (NO ETA)

Also another possibility as you aren't the only one that has a ucrtbase.dll crash:

Bottom line for that one is disable SODE in V5.1 but it could be any number of issues not related to our particular product.

I also facing the same issue after going to V5.1 HF1.

Disabling local WX DLL and disabling the global WX did not change it .

I added the entry in theCFG as mentioned without any effect.

And I also see this issue :

It is the only AC I did have this CTD. All others running fine also with TG and RL.
