Updated my P3D4.5 from KA350i 1.1 to 1.2 and flew a trip KBOI KMSO RNAV Y R12. Terrain display, cockpit lighting, noticeably improved. All went well till after landing at KMSO, where I tried to display the KMSO airport chart on the MFD. Navigraph charts had worked earlier in the flight. This time toggling CHART to return to the chart selection menu produced dialog box saying it had saved a 357 mb MV _MDump .dmp file in simroot to send to support, and then my CTDed P3D4.5. Is this a new thing?

Discovered I couldn't to attach it to this forum post- .dmp is an illegal extension. Tried changing it to .dmp.txt but still no luck. Do you want us to send these CTD reports and .dmp files in ? If so, is there a way to do it?

Zip file? That is huge for a crash dump, strange.

I've emailed a OneDrive link to the four dump files to Osh, along with step by step on how to replicate. Consistent CTD for me using Chart Index in both P3D 4 and 5.

Resolved by complete programs&features deinstall followed by deletion of files/folder within the sims, and then a reinstall. See my lessons learned post https://milviz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=105&t=12596
