A/P disc button does not disconnect trim
Ref v1.1.40 beta
If I run the trim and press the A/P disconnect (mapped to Tailhook toggle) it should stop the trim from running while the button is depressed. It's not having any effect on trim, but does show the button moving and it disconnects YD and A/P when pressed, so I'm sure I'm triggering the event properly.

I'll ask for you, did it do this on previous versions?

Re: A/P disc button does not disconnect trim
Hi,
I don't understand what you are doing. Are you running the trim with a hardware button and at same time use another hardware button mapped to tailhook to disconnect the AP? As events are sequentially triggered, both cannot be processed at the same time.
If trim was running and the autopilot disconnect is pressed while keeping the trim button pressed, once the ap disconnects trim will continue. The second, inner position of the red button in the real aircraft cancels the trim momentarily, but we don't have that second position here.

Re: A/P disc button does not disconnect trim
From page 18 of your own manual:
"Electric control of the elevator trim is done through a thumb switch on each control wheel along with a trim disconnect switch on each control wheel".
"Electric control of the elevator trim is done through a thumb switch on each control wheel along with a trim disconnect switch on each control wheel".

That is not quite correct in this case.
