Landing Gear Failures
Hallo Folks,
Today during the approach, while lowering the Landing Gear I’ve experienced a “Landing Gear Failure”. Since in the setup menu I’ve checked the “Random Failures “ box I wasn’t surprised about this event. The problem arise when , dealing with the “Landing gear Manual extension “ Non Normal Checklist I’ve noticed that the Alternate extension handle was not working. In few words ...I was able to “catch” the hand-pump by the use fo the mouse...but the hand-pump is kind of stuck ( not moving..). Does anybody ever experience this problem before?
Regards
Claudio Longobardi
p.s: I’ve attached the Beechcraft NNC for easy consulting

Re: Landing Gear Failures
AFAIK the only failures implemented are related to engines. I'll ask if the hand pump was supposed to work but I suspect it's no.
PS I've moved this to the support forum.

Thanks for the reply,
But , what initially surprised me, was that the Alternate extension handle Pump was ( outwardly ...) completely interactive. I’ll explain myself better: I was able to “catch” the handle Pump with the mouse....but anytime I tried to lower/rise or pull the handle...it simply remain stuck in its ( resting...) position.
Thanks for your help.

p.s.: it goes without saying...in the real aircraft the handle can be pulled ...and then pumped several times in order to deploy ( manually..) the landing gear...

Hi,
You must first click on the secure clip to release the handle. See pic:
