Lvar for gear lever light test? [Answered]

Hi,

I am in the process of creating a home cockpit for the Milviz KA 350i. I got the two Ruscool captain's panels, but I ran into a small problem: I cannot find the Lvar for the test of the red lighting of the gear lever (the small button "HD LT TEST" to the right of the gear lever). Is there an Lvar for it? If no, is there any way to access this button?

The name of the LVar is (L:KA350i_LG_Annuciator,bool)

Hello Tomas,

many thanks for your quick reply. I tried to use this Lvar, but what then happens is that, when I push the "HD LT TEST" button next to the gear handle on my physical panel, the "three greens" display in the VC is moving in and out. What I expected to happen is that the gear handle starts to glow in red. Can you confirm that this is the Lvar for the "HD LT TEST" button?

Sorry, I misunderstood you. The correct var is (L:KA350i_LDG_WARN,enum).

Hi Tomas,

thanks a lot, that did the trick. Now I have to figure out what signals that the gear handle is glowing red. I don't know what I did, but Linda stopped displaying Lvars and instead shows hex blocks. That's why I couldn't find LDG_WARN.
