KA350i Version 1.1.37 Beta (V4 + V5)

Hello all,

This update seeks to address a few snags we've seen recently. As was the case before, the high resolution and low resolution options are now included in the installer. You can select "Custom Install" and unselect the "High Resolution" features to install only the low resolution options.

Note: If you have both V4 and V5 installed you must pick "Custom" install to select which simulators to install to ("Typical" is V5 High resolution )

-Fixed duplicate camera guid
-Fixed invalid texture fallback location
-Fixed typo in camera definitions
-Fixed FMS-3000 inter-flight data not populating
-Fixed implicit pilot defined waypoint entries not honoring entered name
-Fixed DME/VOR setting not being reflected on MFD FMS POS SUMMARY
-Fixed only one pilot defined waypoint being included in search results
-Fixed default sound volume too low before MVAMS is saved

Hi Colin,

Thanks. Just downloaded and installed.

However, I am getting the same 'panels inoperable' problem that we had a few versions back in May. (viewtopic.php?f=105&t=12204)

Then the issue was apparently due to SLI, but I don't have SLI, as I've only got one graphics card. I now have the same problem of panels not working and funny characters appearing.

The solution at that time was;

Navigate to the panel folder (P3Dv4\SimObjects\Airplanes\MV_King_Air_350i\Panel)
Open the LegacyRender folder
Copy the files from LegacyRender into the main panel folder

I'll try this, but be good know what it might be otherwise.

Collin, Steve,

this is what I did following latest closed thread 1.1.36:

- updated to latest nvidia driver 452.06
- deinstalled 1.1.36
- deleted V5 ShadersHSSL folder
- deleted users...local v5 shader folder
- initiated v5 client repair
- installed 1.1.37

Started V5 and voila, the avionics now all show fine, the milky stuff is gone.

I was going to say from past experience it was either a shader mod or corrupted shaders etc. Seen this come up a few times.

Thank you for taking the time to tell what you did to correct it on your system. It may help someone else in the future.

During my attempt to re-install the KA350i, I have reached 'Customer Information' and this asks for 'Serial Number'.

Where can I find this?

Well!

The 'Serial Number' it asked for turned out to be the 'Product Key' that was included with the download...

It would be a lot easier if Milviz would use consistent nomenclature.

HELLO DOES NOT GIVE THE CDU INFORMATION APPEARS "ENABLE TEXT WINDOW ON DE CDU" I HAVE IT ACTIVATED ON AND NOTHING HAPPENS

I also am getting "enable text window on cdu" after removing 1.1.36 and installing 1.1.37. No amount of button pressing clears it. The nav information in pink when leveling off never shows.

Just to update...

I solved it by uninstalling completely and deleting shader cache. It seems I’d also still got an old KA installation running alongside the current batch, which must not have been overwritten by a later version at some point. So I uninstalled that as well.
Installed 1.0.37 and now works perfectly.

With regards to Enable text window on CDU appearing - you can just clear that by pressing the left lower scratch key (LSK 3?) on the panel and scrolling through the mini drop down menu.
It may be in the manual but I didn’t look

Press this a couple of times and shut it off. Not sure why the default is showing this now, it never used to. Probably because there is no flight plan?

Tried reinstalling v 1.1.137. After loading, got the same message. Tried "Press this a couple of times and shut it off. Not sure why the default is showing this now, it never used to. Probably because there is no flight plan" but message remained. Loaded a flight plan, but message remained. When I do click that box, it shows FMS-txt to be lit, but message remained. Clicking it again to off removed the enable text window, but no nav advisories appeared in pink.

This is while using p3d 4.5.2
