Re: Holding Pattern
1. To hold at present position:
a. Press the HOLD key.
b. Select PPS.
c. Define the elements of the holding procedure on the HOLD page.
2. To hold at a waypoint on the flight plan:
a. Press the HOLD key.
b. Enter the holding point in the boxes (ııııı), or select NEW HOLD if there is already a holding
point defined (i.e. missed approach holding) in the flight plan
c. Enter the ID of the holding point (if necessary).
d. Define the elements of the holding procedure on the HOLD page.
3. To exit holding, press EXIT HOLD on the LEGS or HOLD page. The FMS will sequence to the next
waypoint in the flight plan or stay on current heading if there are no more waypoints or if there is a
discontinuity. Or you can go DIRECT to the next waypoint to exit the holding pattern (see next step).
