Hi guys!! using the latest beta in 2048x2048 resolution but just loading te KA in any scenery I get VRAM use 5.8 of 6.6 immediately with cold and dark setup.
What is the best way to decrease VRAM use? I want to fly this aircraft badly in P3Dv5 but last flight ended in an NVIDIA error because of VRAM.
Any suggestion?

We are looking at the VRAM issue, no promise it can be lowered though. I installed the Windows 10 upgrade to the 2004 version and my available video memory went up from 6.3 GB available to 7.1 in V5. Substantial gain on an 8GB 1080 card.

There must be something you have on the aircraft that causes the spike..a specific component. not comparing to other addons but the pmdg 747 or 737 are nowhere near the same consumption as the KA 350 and they are somewhere near the KA in terms of complexity, etc... I want to be able to fly it but everytime I try, it maxes out the VRAM and I can't complete a flight.. Its an awesome aircraft and want to fly it all the time..

Collin is investigating a way to reduce VRAM consumption. Keep an eye on the beta thread and this forum for updates.
