Ka350i Battery Dead, Nav-Mode inop, Power+Condition lever problems - installation problem?

Hi everybody,
i can't get the KA setup correctly.
Tried a number of things as written in different posts (install XML tools manually, only use previously saved flight, run prepar3s and mvams as admin, etc., but still run into this problem:
- starting the mission, no power on battery neither on gpu, start with ctrl-e not possible. only sfds.
- my ch yoke works on prop axis but not on power and condition levers
Only once i managed to have the aircraft with running enginges with a couple of combinations of settings. But not correctly - no nav arm tracking possibel. engine readouts don't reflect to actual state.
I suspect a problem in installation or special settings necessary.
Anyone an idea?
I might be pretty dumb with home flight sim but i fly a real kingair.
Thanks:-)

Hi, sorry for your issues. It does sound like no XML tools were installed. Are you using the latest beta from the top of the support forum here?

Thx:-)
I did reinstall with making sure, no firewall nor antivir.
XML tools installed
Problems not yet solved
- Not yet tried to delete shaders folder - shoud i delete everything in the C:\Users\userdata\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5 folder, or only the shaders folder in it?
- During re-install i noticed it is not installed as described in installation tips like this: D:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\DHC-3 Turbine Otter Milviz but instead directly in D:\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Milviz KA350i (has been offered automatically during install. SHould i change?
Version is not 1.1.34 beta but 1.1.27
So better go for 1.1.34 beta Version?
During my purchase of 350i i did not gain acces to login on purchase site, but have been given a download by osh. I'd have to ask for the beta first.
I read about prepar3dv5 in combination with ka350i - is that also possible? I am currently running on 4.5.xxxx
Thanks again:-)

Yes, please try the 1.1.34 beta as it is the latest version. The older version did have an issue with installing XMLTools. Make sure you run the uninstall from windows add/remove programs as the installer for this aircraft is different than our others. It is advisable to remove any leftover files if you have had several versions installed before.
Since you are posting here in the KA support section, this forum is where you will always find access to the latest beta version available to customers.
V5 is also WIP , which is now included in the newest beta installer as an option.
Please let me know if your XMLTools issue is resolved and the aircraft works fine for you.

So i understand right, the new beta vers will work also with prepar3dv5, not only v4? Do you suggest i use v5 rather?
Thx & Best

Did the install with 1.1.34 beta on v4.
Now when i open prepar3d first time, i can choose 350i from airplane menu.
But when i load the mission, program states that it is either not activated or there is an activation error, and doesn't continue.
During install, i put in my serial as has been provided with the download link for 1.1.27
Best Rolf

Strange , unless you copied the number wrong it should be ok. Did you copy/ paste it from your recipt? Make sure there are no extra spaces etc. Usually if its typed in wrong it will error during installation.

Oddly, i managed one single time to have the KA running properly without any bugs. Several attempts since then, access denied with the "no activation" message. Pity, i liked it:-)
Did another uninstall, but now during reinstall i got the message "activation denied, due to activation limit reach or xxx. Please contact support".
So probably we need the activation /codes reset.
Can i ask for it here in this forum or need to contact separatly?
Thx & best,
Rolf
