No Power [Resolved - XMLtools]

Hi,

I just purchased and installed this aircraft for P3D V5, everything seems to load up ok but I have no power. When I try and check the battery volt meter it reverts back to TPL Fed. It wont stay on battery. I cant get the battery to switch on, pressing ctrl E does nothing. Its entirely possible i'm doing something stupidly wrong, but I cant figure out what it is. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Thanks for the idea, and I wish it was that simple, but no. That doesn't change a thing unfortunately.

Hi. We are still in beta for V5 so there may be a few issues yet to resolve. Can you tell me what starting state you have set in MVAMS? Also did you run the installer as admin /run P3D as admin?

Hi,

So I've uninstalled, made sure the antivirus, firewall and everything else was disabled and then reinstalled it again. I both installed it as admin and launched P3D as admin and still get the same issue. Whether I connect the GPU or not I don't get any power, ctrl E doesn't start it up either. I've used MVAMS to start both in cold and dark and ready to start with the same issue.

It sounds like xmltools is not installed. One of the devs posted you can run the installer from command line with the /beta argument. The installer is located in the redistributables folder in the KA 350i folder.

Are you using the battery switch on the lower left under the gang bar?

Wow, it eats up some vram. Getting CTD when attempting to start the engines. No other addon planes come close to the limit for me.

Disappointing to hear that VRAM is still a huge problem with this a/c. I downloaded the V5 beta but probably won't even bother testing it.
