Hello all,

We've updated the KA350i and combined the installers into one. The changes are outlined below - please give us your feedback! The high resolution and low resolution options are now included in the installer. You can select "Custom Install" and unselect the "High Resolution" features to install only the low resolution options.

Installer: https://milviz.com/Online_products/Prod ... 200710.zip

Changes from 1.1.31
Visual Changes
-Updated chrome (fixed black chrome in V5)

Systems Changes
-Fixed the transparent rendering option not working for V5
-Fixed overly large TrueGlass texture size setting
-Fixed broken readme link in the installer
-Unified and improved installer process

Hi all,

looks like me having problems with the new installer. It creates a fresh new v4 structure and puts xmltools and light and glass in it, but it doesn't do that in the existing v5 structure? The plane itself gets installed correctly into v5 folder but is then missing obvious things on load.

Working fine for others?

Cheers
Thorsten

New installer is useless for me (running V5 only)

XMLTools (pre-requisite) fails to install , installer is then stuck on "copying files"

Come on, Milviz, how did you manage to let this issue slip by QA?

Other users reported this being fixed by updating the Content and Scenery also when updating to the latest P3D patch

Lighting is simply not working cause the installer does not install trueglass and reallight for v5.

I know Ruud did a full fresh install. But he is on a 6gb card. So nothing to do with p3d.

Sorry mate. That doesn't help as the fact is the current installer missing things and its not other planes or p3d related.
Looks like we have to wait for another round then.

You are mixing 2 things here. rudd is showing an Nvidia error, which I got also, but while using another non-milviz plane. So, although it could be related, is not limited to Milviz planes. I do not have access to P3D internal workings so I can't tell why the nvidia error is happening but is not limited to Milviz planes.

Lighting? I'll tell you in a few. I'm downloading the latest version

Sergio, no problem, we all just want to fly this nice bird in v5 ;) Ruuds problem is most probably peaking vram and his card going mad on this. And thats for sure like you said not mv specific. But thats not the main problem of this beta version. The problem with this installer is, if you uninstalled the old KA version AND deleted all remains like XMLtools, light and glass manually you will have no lighting and limited functions. The current installer creates an unwanted v4 folder with all stuff in it but does nothing with the v5 folder except putting the plane in.

Cheers
T.

This IS the QA version....You are just being allowed to test it before it goes out to the masses as a full update....thus the word "Beta"
