This is kind of a difficult one to explain, but whenever I am entering a waypoint in the FMS flight plan pages, there is a very short freeze. It is possible to hear the engine sounds go up slightly, as if RPM increases and reduces. It does not happen when adding the start/end airports, nor on airway entry, but on all waypoints (VOR, GPS points etc) there is that skip.

I don't have a video recording software available unfortunately, or I'd record a clip to show, but I'm sure I am not the only one with this issue.

This can happen if you add a waypoint that requires a search in database a bit longer than standard, and there is high load on P3D resources (scenery refresh, etc), especially if other applications are running together with P3D (several), and disk is not SSD. Also Win updates that are loaded in the background without being noticed are a factor of those delays and unstable or visible drop in fps.

I've noticed that in very specific cases, and the delay was almost imperceptible.

It is more noticeable when the system is under heavy load. Thankfully, it only happens when entering waypoints to the plan, and that’s something I can live with. Just thought I’d report in case there is something that can be done to speed up the search.

I get this in EVERY waypoint and the sound of the engines stops then loops and starts again right after entry of the waypoint. There has to be a way to fix this please!
