Engine Parameters at ground idle [feature]

Post by ctmcewan » Fri Jun 19, 2020 9:08 am

Good Morning All,

During a recent ground idle at 1600 feet airport elevation i had following readings:- As you see there is a disparity which is maintained through all flt phases with biggest difference in T/O & CLIMB power settings, is this a default you have built in to the model?

The MVAM Engine options were on restored prior to flt,in my flight engineer days these differences would have been written up in the Tech Log for investigation possible Fuel Control Unit issue and higher EGT would probably leaf to Boroscope inspection OF the "hot section"

Can you advise please.
