Now that SP1 has been released I am trying to learn how to fly the KA350i properly.

I have downloaded some manuals I found on this forum kindly donated by a forum member, but I'm having a problem finding info on the correct engine management during take off and climb. I'm happy with the Propeller settings like reducing RPM to 1600 RPM during the climb, but page 12-34 of the Milviz 350i manual states 'Set static take-off power' - how do I find this figure ? Also page 12-25 states 'Climb power - Set', where do I find what the climb power should be ?, its not setting the Props at 1600 rpm as that comes next in the checklist.

For take-off power, there are four charts in the AFM based on conditions. Here is the most common which is AC and Bleeds ON and Anti-Ice OFF.
For the third segment climb and the two engine climb gradient, the Torque is 100% or ITT is 820 whichever you reach first.

Moving to Time, Fuel, and Distance to climb charts the Torque is 100% and the ITT is 785 degrees which you reach first. So the point I am ready to adjust the propellers to 1600 RPM I reduce torque on the engine, because as I reduce the propeller RPM the propeller blades will take a bigger bite of air and the torque will increase. As I readjust the torque on the engines I also set my weakest engine to 785 ITT (right in the MV B350i) or 100% torque in cooler temperatures and then match the torque on the stronger engine to the weaker engine. i.e. weakest engine sets the maximum torque.

When I am are cruise altitude I finally set the propeller to 1500 and adjust again to keep the engines below 785 ITT (unless I want to fly a highspeed cruise.)

So am I right in thinking the limiting factor during climb is 100% Torque providing the ITT remains at or below 785, then 785 ITT becomes the limiting factor.

Yes, however, I never push 100% especially not in the MV sim. I use 98% to 99% torque in the aircraft, close enough.
