Crash to Desktop upon Entering Altitude Constraint

Hi,

as per separate post I just took the following route:

KSBA KWANG5 HENER V186 FIM V386 OKACO KL35

I had entered all waypoints until OKACO without selecting an approach to KL35. During climb I entered a altitude constraint /9400 at OKACO, still without approach selected.

Upon pressing EXEC P3D crashed to desktop without error message. Unfortunately I wasn't able to take a screenshot.

Is there any known issue or limitation I should know about before trying to reproduce the full flight?

Cheers,

Stefan

What build are you using?

That was 1.1.28.

I am unable to reproduce this - can you give me exact steps and what waypoint you were en route to?

Hi Colin,

I departed Rwy 15L, manually turned in direction of KWANG, set a Direct-To KWANG, then activated autopilot with NAV and VS. Approaching KWANG I added the altitude constraint at OKACO and pressed EXEC, resulting in the CTD. This was in version 1.1.28.

I just had another CTD after entering the following route in the Flightplan page upon initializing the FMC in new version 1.1.29:

KHHR SMO V107 SADDE V299 VTU KWANG KSBA

After adding KWANG I pressed EXEC and P3D immediately crashed to desktop without error message. Upon retrying the same flight and actions it worked fine, i.e. I cannot reproduce the error.

I don't think there's a relation to the fix KWANG. It's just the most common used fix for departures/arrivals at KSBA.

That's all input I can provide for now.

Cheers,

Stefan
