Hey guys,

a few points regarding the Chart Viewer on the MFD (I'm using Navigraph Charts)

• When a chart is shown, the info area at the very bottom of the MFD (with GS/TAS and SAT/ISA) is not visible. When the chart selector window is open, the text is actually there, but with transparent background. During Taxi with a ground chart open, the Ground Speed readout would be really helpful - especially in the sim, where everyone tends to taxi short of V1 for some reason
• How to use the "ANY CHART" option available for every airport? I expected to be able to select e.g. an additional detailed ground chart, but the lines that say "ANY CHART" don't seem to have any function. Therefore, also no charts for the Alternate Airport are accessible.
• How is it possible, to display charts from airports not in the flight plan? "FALA" seems to be the hard-coded "other airport" here - is it possible to change this, and then select any chart from this airport (see pt. 2 above)?
• When the NIGHT mode is active and the current chart is in landscape mode, or the current chart is moved "out of bounds", the background is still bright white - would be really cool if this could be changed to black (also in DAY mode the black background would be better IMHO)

Something that's remotely connected to this topic, is the fact that on some subpages of the CDU -> ARR/DEP page (e.g. the ARRIVAL page of the departure airport) - the runways and procedures are listed correctly, but can not be selected using the appropriate LSKs. I think this has been noted somewhere else in this forum already, but I don't find it right now.

All mentioned points are still valid, recap:

• GS/TAS Bar not visible when chart viewer enabled
• "ANY CHART" items are without function
• Charts from alternate or other airports not accessible
• NIGHT mode has white background
• No DEP or ARR procedures are selectable for "OTHER" airport on the FMS DEP/ARR page (although they are listed correctly)

Hi Chris, development is essentially finished other than V5 comparability and fixing showstoping bugs, so additional features aren't getting added at this point.

I've forwarded your findings to the developers so no promises.
