I originally posted a reply under the topic Right engine crashes on every take-off but my problem does not seem to be hardware related. Every single time both engines fail 30 seconds after take-off. I follow procedures and even take-off with reduced power. The engine covers are removed.

MVAMS shows no difference before or after the problem. It is always green. I have reset it but this does not affect the problem. I am able to restart the engines with no problem after the failure. This is repeatable. I have disabled ActiveSky and also disconnected my throttle system and the problem still occurs. I have tried the same without entering anything in the FMS and the same.

I ran the MV_King_Air_350i_Test.rar and it appears that this problem has nothing to do with the engine failure system. The status like the MVAMS reads around 0.3% failure rate so the engine is not failing. I reinstalled everything and have the same issue. It happens at the same exact place (30 secs after TO) when I take off from TLPL. At other airports, it happens on the ground or much later in flight. I have no idea what is happening but both engines are spooling down at the same exact time.

It is not a KA direct issue but probably produced by a third party addon conflicting, or a conflict with P3D HF3 version.
Did you check that P3D default engine failures is not enabled? Does it happen with any other turboprop aircraft?

I have not downloaded HF3. P3D realism settings have none of the failure items checked. I flew some other turboprop aircraft around (payware and default) and did not experience any problems though they were all short flights. When the problem happens, I don't see any changes to switches or levers in the plane.

I always select fresh from the P3D loading screen (it's not the default aircraft). Did some more testing. At some airports, I have no problem at all. At TLPL, it happens every single time at the same place taking off from Runway 10 at about 1000AGL. It has happened once or twice on the ground or in the air at other locations though. I have disabled add-on scenery at TLPL and it still happens with the default airport. Also, I tested in 1.18 and the problem is there too but it is only recently that I have experienced this problem and I have been flying the 350 for a few weeks.

My problem is solved and the KA350i flies again. The engine failure was caused bei the latest version of FSUIPC5. I've removed the whole KA profile and the engine quit was immediately gone. I've a backup of the FSUIPC .ini and try to find out which setting it actually was. Interesting stuff. Works with HF3 like a charm now.

I never had a specific profile for the King Air in FSUIPC5 but I uninstalled and installed FSUIPC6 to see if that changed anything and no changes.

But I think I found the source of the problem. Everything works when I disable AI traffic. It seems there was always a brief micro-freeze right before the double oil pressure loss. I wonder if there was a bad texture or model that was being loaded in that was causing that and then somehow the engines fail? Seems odd behavior and I have not experienced this with other aircraft in the same places but this seems to have solved the problem for now. I might later try to isolate which specific element in Ai traffic was causing this. Does this seem possible?

It sounds weird that AI traffic could affect the KA engines. My suggestion is to check it deeply before assuming that as the cause.

Tested some more and this only seems to happen at the moment the sim loads AI traffic onto a nearby airport. It causes a brief FPS drop and I think this is causing the KA to drop oil pressure in both engines. Again, it is different from an engine failure as simulated in the KA. I got rid of one of my larger BGL files and it seems to have helped.
