KA350 Aircraft broken from install
Hi there,
I've had a dig around the forums and still have found topic that matches the issues I'm having.
I recently purchased the King Air 350 and am currently troubleshooting an issue where there seems to be no battery power to the aircraft as well as a couple of other issues that seem to indicate an improper install. The aircraft's systems do not initialize unless connected to ground power, the voltage indicator reads 0 on all electric buses. Throttles do not move and I lose the aircraft sounds after about 30 seconds. I cannot start the engines just attempting to use only ground power and loading the aircraft using all the states provided in the addon manager prove to be no use. I have attempted multiple re-installs following the antivirus and administrator requirements to the letter, and have tried re-installing with the SP1 update as I was advised to wait for release to see if this would resolve the issue. I have also checked that I have the correct version of P3dv4 installed.
Any advice or assistance is greatly appreciated as its getting to the point of requesting a refund as I haven't even manged to taxi this thing and I've dropped 130 AUD on it.

Are you using FSRealTime? If you are, set the SIM's date and time to the actual location time before 'Fly Now' -- when FSRealTime is connected it would toss the A/C's coding in disarray if not done.
If I load the A/C at the last location I flew and launch the SIM, when I connect FSRealTime to the SIM it buggers the A/C coding if the default SIM time was not set within 30 minutes of the real-time before FSRealTime connects to it.

Hi Jack,
Can you let us know the details of your system (see my sig for an example)
Also can you let us now what version of the KA you have installed?

Still no luck. I still have the same issues as before, I have also noticed that all the lights are on when starting the aircraft before going off after maybe 30 seconds to a minute. Whole thing just doesn't seem to work.

Re: KA350 Aircraft broken from install
Before installing please uninstall your current version using windows control panel > programs and features - then delete any remaining MV_King_Air_350i folders in Lockheed Martin > Prepar3D v4 >SimObjects >Airplanes

Any chance somebody can get back to me, having to use a forum for support is less than ideal

Hi,
Please check that XMLTools64.dll is present in your P3D main folder.
In addition, make sure you have the XMLTools64 entry in your DLL file
C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\dll.xml
<Launch.Addon>
<Name>XMLTools64</Name>
<Disabled>False</Disabled>
<ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad>
<Path>XMLTools64.dll</Path>
<DllStartName>module_init</DllStartName>
<DllStopName>module_deinit</DllStopName>
</Launch.Addon>
Thanks!
Tomas

I had this issue too, it fixed itself after I downloaded all of my other premium addon planes first, so all redistribs were installed and latest DX drivers too. Your addon isn't broken; I guarantee you're just missing some free software although not sure which.

Hello Everyone
Same issue here, but i´ve notice that XMLtool64.dll is missing in the P3D main folder, same for dll.xml.
Where can i get/download those files?
By the way, plane has been purchased and installed using the ORBX desktop app.
Regards,

Re: KA350 Aircraft broken from install
If you did not use the custom installer as designed, that may be why you have files missing.,,

Re: KA350 Aircraft broken from install
I purchased today via ORBX. I have exact same issues. Is there a possibility to download manual installer for ORBX purchases?
