1.1.8 - Reallight not working
Sorry guys, but for me the new Reallight beta makes it inop.
VRAM usage has dropped to 2650, but no light in the cockpit.
At least it is butter smooth now
Tomorrow I will try a re-install or revert to 1.1.7

Re: 1.1.8 - Reallight not working
It doesn´t seem that the 1.1.8 Reallight installer, installs the Reallight.dll and Trueglass.dll into the \Gauges folder of P3D.

It seems that the Reallight beta that comes with 1.1.8 isn´t Win7 compatible.marc.delaloy51 wrote: ↑Sat Apr 25, 2020 1:09 pmHow did you proceed?FinnJacobsen wrote: ↑Fri Apr 24, 2020 8:02 amIt doesn´t seem that the 1.1.8 Reallight installer, installs the Reallight.dll and Trueglass.dll into the \Gauges folder of P3D.

You can get back to the original reallight version by running the Reallightinstaller.exe found here:
[Drive:]\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\MV_King_Air_350i\Redistributables\
You can reduze VRAM usage of Realight by opening the file: [Drive:]\Prepar3D v4\SimObjects\Airplanes\MV_King_Air_350i\RealLighta Reallight.xml and change the line:
<Setting Name="TextureSize" Value="4096,4096"/>
To:
<Setting Name="TextureSize" Value="2048,2048"/>
Hopefully they will make a win7 compatible Reallight.dll with the reduced VRAM footprint.
Also reduze Texture resolution in P3D setup to 1024x1024 helps (or 2048x2048 if You previously have used 4096x4096).
Dynamic reflection seems also to have quite an impact on GPU load, if You suffering from that.
If You GPU load is near 100%, thenYou might still see Ok FPS, But You will experience heavy stutters - This is only a general advice, since I din´t find the KA350i to be hard on GPU load, it "only" consumes too much VRAM.
